Psychedelic Funk from Philadelphia. Originally released on Hikeka Records in '73, for a very short run (300 copies), before Del Jones remixed the record and rereleased under, Del Jones' Positive Vibes. This one is a Now-Again, Reserve series, reissue from 2023 that includes both versions. This is the original/proto, raw version, which I prefer.
Opener on, The Leon Thomas Album, from '70. This is a US Flying Dutchman reissue from sometime in the mid-70s.
Bop Jazz from legendary bassist, Charles Mingus. First track on the 'Mingus Ah Um' LP from '59. This is an original US stereo pressing. For the superfans: This was an export copy to a country where another company owned the Columbia name, probably the UK or Canada. You can see the label is stickered over with the CBS logo. The original beneath is a Columbia '6-camera' (black & red).
