The latest Analog Africa release. Another excellent compilation from a label with a proven track record for unearthing rare, often forgotten titles from the latter half of last century.

Their records are excellent entry points for anyone interested in exploring different facets of African music. This one is no exception. More accessible than the title suggests.

Fast-paced funk with some tight, tight rhythms. A lot of James Brown influence here, for sure. Plenty horn-driven grooves! A few more traditional sounding tunes with latin rhythms & bright, melodic guitar breaks...

What more could you ask for, really?
